The school of one minute from now will be an information hub--a complex, omni-directional experience involving thinking, reading, and writing. These are some thoughts on how to make the schools of Missoula part of this vision.
The Peer Coaching Program is designed to train teacher leaders to serve as peer coaches for colleagues. As coaches, these teachers will assist their peers in identifying ways to enhance standards-based instruction and to offer their students engaging, technology-rich, learning activities. In doing so, peer coaches will help their colleagues to develop the necessary technology skills and instructional strategies needed to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
What are the key issues school and district leaders must address to create 21st century teaching and learning environments? This annual event connects superintendents, school principals, chief information officers, IT directors, curriculum directors and instructional specialists from across the Pacific Northwest to engage in a frank conversation around 21st century education.
